International Conference on Materials and Applications for Sensors and Transducers

It is our pleasure to circulate the 1st announcement of the 3rd International Conference on Materials and Applications for Sensors and Transducers, IC-MAST 2013 ( http://www.icmast.net ). The conference is to be held at Prague, Czech Republic during September 13-17, 2013. Professor Ulrich Schmid will be the keynote speaker of the IC-MAST 2013. The conference aims at creating a forum in the field of materials research and their applications, especially for those materials that are used for sensors and devices that transduce physical properties.
Topics
ICMAST-2013 topics encompass, but are not restricted to, the following areas: New materials development
Fabrication technology
Sensing principles and mechanisms
Actuators
Optical devices
Electrochemical devices
Mass-sensitive devices
Gas sensors
Biosensors
Analytical microsystems
Environmental, process control and biomedical applications
Signal processing
Sensor and sensor-array chemometrics
Physics of materials such us: classification of physical effects, measurement theory, modelling of sensors etc.
Publications
Conference contributions will be 4-pages short papers that will be published in Key Engineering Materials, a periodical that is indexed by Elsevier: SCOPUS and Ei Compendex (CPX), Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSA), Chemical Abstracts (CA), Google and Google Scholar, ISI (ISTP, CPCI, Web of Science), Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE), etc.
Full papers will be published in archival issues in Journal of Optoelectronics and Advanced Materials and Sensor Letters, both indexed by ISI and Web of Science.
You are also welcomed to propose a session or a symposium for IC-MAST 2013. For more information, contact the conference secretariat at secretariat@icmast.net
Venue
The conference is to be held at Prague, Czech Republic during September 13-17, 2013 at the Conference Center of the Orea Hotel Pyramida 4*. The hotel is situated by Hradcany and Strahov, within walking distance from the Prague Castle, Loreta, Strahov monastery and the Lesser Town. The Conference Center of the Hotel Pyramida offers ten fully air-conditioned conference rooms. Together they can accommodate up to 1100 people and cover 1200 m2; with additional exhibition space of 800 m2.

All the actions related to the IC-MAST 2013 (paper submission, registration etc) may be completed via the Conference website at http://www.icmast.net.
