The XVII International Sol-Gel Conference will be held in Madrid, Spain on August 25-30, 2013. The recognized biannual Sol-Gel Meetings gather the increasingly interdisciplinary research on Sol-Gel materials worldwide. The Local Organizing Committee (LOC), together with the International Sol-Gel Society (ISGS) and the International Advisory Board (IAB) is elaborating an exciting program for the SG2013 Conference, featuring the leading-edge research and progress in the field of Sol-Gel Science and Technology, with an appropriate mix of well-established and recently developed topics. SG2013 intends to contribute not only from the point of view of scientific research but also from the point of view of industrial needs and developments.
SG2013 will bring together experts from many areas in order to present and discuss recent developments and detect future trends. SG2013 will offer the multidisciplinary and growing scientific Sol-Gel Community an exciting forum to get in contact with international key researchers and will stimulate new collaborations for the development of novel ideas, materials and applications.
In addition to the Scientific Sessions, the Conference will offer two Poster Sessions with enough time for professional discussions, while enjoying a typical Spanish lunch. Moreover, a special afternoon Industrial Session will highlight the recent Sol-Gel developments and applications in industry. Life achievements and best poster prizes will be awarded by ISGS.
